I could no longer indulge in my job and left for work reluctantly almost every day. That was my trigger for career guidance at Captain & Stoker. Together with my coach, I discovered that the human aspect is very important to me, and that I value team spirit a lot. I also learned that I had to look more for my ‘entrepreneurship’, both on a self-employed basis and simply in my job. I changed jobs and my current position is a perfect match, with much independence and freedom and a nice match with my co-workers.
In addition, I now have my own side business: I teach padel courses in Flanders and that’s going really well. Captain & Stoker’s approach is wonderfully direct and hands-on. I still have the flip charts with my visual dreams and timeline. And the ‘16 personalities’ test that my coach had me take, was an eye-opener in every respect!
