I always envied people who perfectly knew what they wanted to do. I did not. My education hadn’t been easy, which was a tremendous blow to my self-confidence. I didn’t get enough pleasure and energy out of my job and hoped to discover through career guidance what suited me better. I didn’t choose revolution, but evolution. Step by step, I became more assertive and honest about my needs, and I dared to ask for things at my job. I noticed that expressing my wishes suddenly also led to opportunities.
My coach was a perfect match from the very start. Our conversations were very informal, didn’t follow a fixed pattern, and weren’t limited to my professional life. My coach gave me the external validation I needed and taught me, above all, to listen carefully to my feelings. An incredible added value!
