I’ve grown a lot along with and in my company, but after 15 years I needed a change. I did want the same responsibilities and personal growth, but in a different context and with a better work-life balance. That’s why I took the step to career guidance. I needed a broader perspective and didn’t want any prefixed career exercises. I needed someone to clear my head and to help guide my self-reflection. I felt like I could bring up anything with my coach – not just work-related but also life questions. She immediately understood the context
and reassured me that everything I struggled with was normal. She made me feel safe, and at the same time challenged me. I am now an executive coach of 14 team leaders at another company, trying to provide my team with the necessary tools to work on their own. I got so much out of this, and I know that I can always reach out to her again if I need it.
