I had been working for the same company for a very long time and had taken the career opportunities that had been presented to me, without asking myself whether I actually wanted them. As a project manager, I mainly dealt with cost-saving projects, whereas I actually much preferred to be working with people. This led to a period at home, to rethink what I really wanted.
