I was stuck in a job without any challenges or pressure, and I wanted to take a different path. Through a friend, I had an intake interview and it turned out to be a very nice chat. Captain & Stoker clearly does not opt for a traditional approach with questionnaires and core values et cetera, but really looks at the person in front of them. “Start with the why”, as Simon Sinek puts it so beautifully, and that works for me. I experienced much depth in my career guidance, but in a very jovial, informal way. Our appointments didn’t take place in an office, but in a cozy coffee shop.
Without me feeling like I had an interview or a therapy session, my coach stimulated me to work toward a goal, and she helped me bring out the intrinsic path that was within me. Thanks to her, I have now started a master’s program in environmental science!
